Wood+Partners: May 2005 - Current

Settler's Market, 30+ acre mixed use site, partnered with OSA Architecture, LAI Engineering, and AIG Baker Developement. Design and development of site plan. 350,000 sf footprint big box retail, small shops, multi-family development, three plazas, one large central green. Images soon.

NDOT (Nevada Depart. of Transportation): Streetscape for McCarran Blvd.

City of Sparks Memorial Park: A half block down-town memorial site.

City of Reno Virginia Lake: A 2 1/2 acre lakeside park

City of Reno Meadow Wood Mall: landscape redesign for seven building addition, attached and unattached, including parking, etc.

City of Reno RETRAC: landscape design for the five block pedestrian way created by the covering of the downtown rail lines.

Washoe County, Sun Mesa Park: A 3 1/4 acre sub-division park site constructed around a detention basin

Fernley Commercial Site: Landscape design for a ten acre shopping center

Foothills of Fernley: Design Guidelines for a hundred+ acre subdivision, presentation boards, entry landscape

Sage Hill Development: landscape design for 19 unit SF subdivision with revegetation

Cosmos Properties: Presentation boards for new subdivision

Ivory Residence: A small scale residential project.

    Work involved has included initial proposals, site investigation and inventory, code interpretation and application, design development, illustrative graphics, client review, construction documentation (demolition, layout, grading, planting, irrigation, details), water use calculations, and cost estimates. As project pictures become available they will be posted in the portfolio section of this website.

Learning Landscape Alliance: Grant writing, volunteer coordination, community participatory design, fund raising, design work, design/build, presentations, installation, AmeriCorps coordination, budgeting, on site analysis, construction and post-construction documentation.

GPD Land Design: Design work, drafting, budgeting, grading, installation, site furnishings, meetings with clients and crew.

Teaching Assistantship: Design Studio V based on Denver Zoo. Desk critiques, site analysis, research, semester scheduling, grading, and assignment design. 

Teaching Assistantship: Organization and review of MLA seminar class University of Colorado.

Research Assistant and Co-editor 2003 UCD Reaccreditation Report: Research and writing of report on University of Colorado's Department of Landscape Architecture for Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board.

Sky Blue Design: Mason's assistant. The cutting, the measuring, and the laying of stone.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park: Trail guide, back-country guide, wilderness interpretation, presentations, guest speaker coordination, historic documentation.

NBC / WSAV, KNAZ: Newscast Director. Commercial Producer. 

University of Colorado: Grant writer for College of Architecture and Planning. Worked in part or fully on four grants including Caring for Colorado 2002 and 2004, AmeriCorps 2002 and 2004, and National Science Foundation 2004.
